Voyager

adoptaspacecraftvoyager1When you get there

put a word in.

Just show them how

we’re not all bad

and that we have

capacity

for such beauty

and such wonder.

I know we threw

you from the world,

gave your a box

of memories

and sent you on

your way but we

never forgot

your sacrifice.

I wish that you

had taken me

with you.
