nameless child

mother earless

mumchance

 

isle-bound by the grace

of a king – to search

for the divine idiolect

– communion with

the light of lights

 

to learn the word

– the songs

of the sage failed –

despite the innocence

 

of shunned cubs  –

no voice to illuminate

their fading intellect

no voice infused

 

by Michael – absent –

tight lipped – mute

as mater – mute

and martyr
